Design In The Wild: Preparing Austin for SXSW

When the drunk nerds come to town...

This is one from our time at SXSW that I never posted. Prior to being overwhelmed by a mob of drunk nerds, the folks in Austin saran wrap all of the lightposts, etc. downtown that people might feel compelled to post flyers/advertise on.

While it looks strange at first (almost like these are new gift lightposts that have yet to be unwrapped), this solution makes a whole lot of sense and makes everyone – the advertisers during the conference and the people left to clean up the mess – happy.
