I love the idea of a map customized for what’s important to *only* you. The illustration style is perfect. I’m also a huge sucker for the giant blue whale which was my favorite place to hang out as a child. That and the dinosaur room. Check out the large version here.

    Presumably this a manually designed image. It would be great to build a tool that allowed you to generate a custom map based on key locations, and totally doable.

    I've been wondering recently about how I could produce a map skewed to show the routes I take and the locations I visit. I'm convinced people in big cities and small towns traverse a similar amount of space despite the disparity in space available to them.
