damn, that is hot!
i love a most of the UX stuff that comes out of etsy. i remember one of their first versions had a browser that allowed you to quickly browse by color (and perhaps “texture/material”)
this auto scroll button reminds me of iphoto’s “Events” view. each set of photos are automatically grouped into “photo events”. a big event image shows up in your browser. when you move your mouse horizontally across the event icon, it shows you a preview of all the photos in that set. pretty neat
