Totally agree. It’s a mystery to me how no one has nailed this down yet. With that in mind, I think they’ve got one good crack at it and they can’t afford to rush it out the way Loopt did so I appreciate the patience.

It also shows a lot of overconfidence on BrightKite’s part too – that people will actually wait for them to be the mobile social app du jour despite a bunch of competition.

Then again, regarding their competition, there isn’t a big winner out there yet either.
