Now this is when Twitter gets really interesting

Mining statistics and visualization have always interested me so you can imagine my enjoyment when I saw this breakdown of Twitter’s usage during the Super Bowl. Here’s the breakdown of the data they’re tracking (click on the image for a bigger version of the chart):

The blue line represents updates during the Super Bowl and the green line represents updates during the same time the Sunday before.

I hope someone dedicates some of their free time to making more of these.
